Breast enlargement operation is carried out in general anaesthetic and takes up to an hour.

The surgeon makes an incision of 3-5 cm long either in the underarm, nipple or in the crease below the breast.

The implant can be placed between the breast tissue and the chest muscle or behind the chest wall muscle.

At the consultation your surgeon will inform you before the operation, what kind of an implant is more appropriate to use and where to place it. Place of the implant will depend on the looseness of your skin and your anatomy.

After the surgery, you will be covered by dressings and a special bra which you will be advised to wear.

Your surgeon will inform you whether you need to stay in the hospital the same day of the surgery or you may go home.

Fat injection is another type of breast enlargement which is also called fat grafting.

In fat grafting, fat tissue is taken from different parts of your body such as thighs, belly and buttocks by liposuction.

Then the tissue is processed into fat and is ready to be injected into the breast area.

Some women may prefer fat injection as it is the amount of tissue taken from your own body and this tissue is removed from an area that you don’t want.
